How many states of matter are there?


Four states of matter are observable in everyday life: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Many other states are known such as Bose–Einstein condensates and neutron-degenerate matter but these only occur in extreme situations such as ultra cold or ultra dense matter.

Do male seahorses get pregnant?


In sea horses, the males become pregnant. Their mating involves the female inserting her oviduct into the male’s brooding pouch. She does this several times for short intervals to avoid exhaustion. In between the female rests while the male contorts himself to try to get the eggs in place in his brood pouch.

What animals eat spiders?


Because they are small, spiders have many enemies. Larger animals, such as birds, toads, lizards and monkeys, hunt them. But they are also used as food by many smaller creatures. Ticks will attach themselves to a spider and eat away at it for a long time while the spider goes about its business.
